Beans are from Cafe Organico Marcala, a cooperative in Honduras which was founded with a vision of creating new and alternative development opportunities for small-scale coffee farmers in the region. They currently have 120 members and farm using innovative organic practices that build soil and are more sustainable for the environment.
'Ethiopia' Organic Light Roast
Notes of sweet orange, fresh lime, candied cherry, and sugar cane.
These beans come from the Sidama Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union which represent coffee producing cooperatives throughout the Sidama Zone of southern Ethopia. They represent 51 cooperatives and more than 76,000 small-scale farmer families. Coffee producers in this cooperative grow coffee in low densities under the canopies of indigineous tree and enset (false banana), a staple crop for Sidama families.
